In partnership with Barton Malow Builders, WarrenBuilds is a prime contractor constructing a new, leading edge 256,000 square foot academic building to house the Biology and Chemistry Departments, and the dean’s office for the School of Computer Mathematical and Natural Sciences.

WarrenBuilds is leading and coordinating the demolition, site development, and vertical construction. The project will deliver state-of-the-art classrooms and teaching labs to help MSU become the first HBCU classified R1 by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education. Reserved for institutions at the forefront of research and innovation, this designation is currently held by just 146 of America’s 2,800+ four year colleges and universities.
