Overview
WarrenBuilds was a prime contractor on an innovative project that constructed six new schools for Prince George’s County. Working in partnership with Gilbane Building Company, WarrenBuilds oversaw all aspects including design and permitting, site development, vertical construction, and final fit out, delivering six new schools in just three years.

This innovative, first in the nation Public-Private Partnership (P3) implemented a design, build, finance, and maintain (DBFM) alternative acquisition model to provide new schools much faster than traditional school construction. This project delivered 8,000 new student seats to one of the nation’s largest school systems in only three years, and provides long-term facility maintenance over the life of the buildings.
